Activity

Choose the required activity from the list. By default, Phone Call is displayed. Other options are Meeting, Task, Note and Other.

Type

Specifies a more detailed classification of an activity. For example, Meetingcan be classified into first meeting, presentation, follow up and so on.

By default, General is displayed in this field. Choose Define New to add more types.

Subject

Specify another classification of an activity. Typical grouping by subject may include products, business area and so on.

By default, the field is blank. Choose Define New to add more subjects.

Assigned To

Choose the user who handles the activity, from the pre-defined list of users in your company. By default, the user who created the activity is displayed.

Personal

Select to specify that the activity is of a personal nature.

Although an activity is defined as Personal, other users can also see it.

Number

Displays a system-defined number that is automatically incremented for each new activity.

BP Code

Choose a business partner code to be related to the activity.

· When creating an activity via a document or any other window in which a certain business partner appears, this business partner is selected automatically in the Activity window.

· You do not have to select a business partner code if Personal is selected.

BP Name

Displays the name of the business partner selected in the BP Code field.

Contact Person

Displays the default contact person defined for the business partner.

You can select a different contact person if several contact persons are defined for the business partner. You can also leave the field blank.

Phone

Displays the phone number of the contact person selected for the activity. If a phone number is not defined for the contact person, then the business partner phone number is displayed.

Related Activities

Choose to open the Activities Overview for Business Partner window, displaying any existing activities related to the business partner.
